The photographs of graffiti, typography, lettering, etc etc, that I’ve been taking will now be exclusively posted on a new and separate blog called “Notes from Human Beings”.

Making books in 1947.
Unless you’ve actually seen a Linotype machine in working order, just by looking at one you’d have almost no idea what it did, or how it actually worked. There happens to be a clip of someone actually using one in this video!
Fascinating.
